Business package for Laurie K Photography

Laurie recently purchased a pre-made logo and she wanted a matching pieces to use for business. I custom designed her business card, letterhead, envelope and a watermark.

Important News

Right now I'm not accepting any logo jobs until August 18th. I am accepting any other design work, including pre-made logos until August 2nd.

I am leaving for my vacation and will not be back until the 18th! I'm very excited about this vacation, it's a once in a lifetime experience for me and my husband. For those that do not know, It's an 11 day trip up the east coast visiting different amusement parks. We will be riding close to 90 roller coasters! 

I will be posting a trip report on my photo blog at some point after my return. And then I'll be ready to get back to work!

So if you need business cards, letterhead, envelopes, post cards, etc... contact me soon so I can get these done for you before I leave.

What Makes a Good Logo

The musts of a good logo:

Must be memorable
Must work as 1 color
Must be scale able... think big... think bigger! ( Needs to be a VECTOR file)
Must be timeless (A humorous or whimsical logo can only go so far.... think 10-20 years down the road, not current trends)
and most important, it must describe, if the logo doesn't represent the company then it is not effective.

Logos that are superb:
Apple
Nike
McDonalds
Volkswagen
Coca-Cola

They all represent something and they are all timeless and they all have something to remember them by... either by an object or a uniquely made font.


I know that everyone has different tastes and some people like to change their logo from time to time. My suggestion: Do it once and do it right! Let your work represent your whimsical-self and let your logo represent the professional you are.

Need a Logo?

After many weeks of nonstop work it's time for me to take a break
